Frequently Asked Questions

What do I wear?

Whatever you want! You will be asked to dress down to your level of comfort. Most clients remove everything, but many will leave their underwear on. Most women remove their bra as well so they can enjoy long relaxing strokes on their back and shoulders without getting oil all over them. Ultimately, this decision is left up to you. As a professional therapist, I am used to working around what everyone is comfortable with.

Should you feel pain during a massage?

Not at all. It is normal, however, to feel that it “hurts so good!” It is a myth that massage must be painful to be effective, not to mention, you really want to feel less stressed and more relaxed when you leave. When you feel pain, it is natural to tense your muscles up, which makes it more difficult to work out the tension.

The most important thing to remember is if you are in pain during your massage, please speak up! We cannot read your mind and we want you to enjoy your massage and not be miserable the entire time.

What is your cancellation policy?

Late arrivals result in a reduced session time.

Please give 24-hour notice for cancellations. Clients not giving 24 hours notice or not showing at all will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee on the card used to hold the appointment. If you did not use a card to hold your appointment, you will be sent an invoice via email. This will be due within 24 hours upon receiving the bill via email.

I do understand that there are things that come up that are beyond your control, please be courteous and call or text to let me know.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. For easier payment(because sometimes my credit card reader likes to drive me crazy!), I also accept Paypal, Venmo, Google Wallet & Apple Pay. I also except all SpaFinder gift cards!
